This pet friendly cottage on Lake Dalrymple for rent, is located close to Toronto, just a 90 minute drive, and 20 minutes from Casino Rama, the cottage for couples, or small family, is available by the week or weekends, and is located in beautiful cottage country in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.  We are open year round and our rates are reasonable.   Enjoy our Lake Dalrymple cottage and the great fishing. 

The cottage in the fall

 This rustic, small and cozy cottage is located on a large corner lot with private dock and swimming area located directly across the road on beautiful Lake Dalrymple.  Descend the steps to the lake to find a secluded deck under shady trees, with sunset views. The waterfront has a rocky shoreline and hardpan bottom.  Fish right off the dock, or bring your own boat.  Boat rentals, bait and fishing license are also available at the nearby convenience store.

The pet friendly cottage allows one dog or one cat

 A backyard fire pit is ready for toasting marshmallows and wieners. Wood is provided for the first fire.  Wood is not provided during the winter months, though you may burn your own.

  • This property is offered self contained and is not serviced. You are requested to bring your own linen and toiletries including, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, dish cloths and tea towels. (One blanket per bed is provided)  A limited amount of toilet paper and dish washing liquid may be supplied and therefore, we recommend you bring your own with you to avoid running out
  • Mosquito's and bugs are natural inhabitants of the lake. Please bring bug repellent for indoor and outdoor use
  • Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm during the week

        Guests

  • Upon approval,  guests may visit during the day, and must depart no later than 11pm. The maximum number of persons on the property, at any time,  must not exceed 6.
  • Additional overnight guests are not permitted
  • Camping, tenting, sleeping in cars, is not permitted
 
 Poison Ivy is common along roadsides, learn its three distinctive leaflets and avoid it
If you realize you've come into contact with poison ivy, as soon as possible, apply rubbing alcohol to the infected area to dissolve the oil, and/or rinse with lots of cold water (not hot, and do not take a shower which will spread the oil).  Calamine lotion may add relief from itching.  You can get a rash from the urushoil on clothing and on the fur of your pets.
